After joining Doncaster Rovers FC on loan in October Conor Grant has seen his playing time increase and has played in the last six matches. He also scored in his debut match against Colchester United in November. The one month loan was due to end this week, but with playing time increasing and the Rovers moving out of the drop zone during that time it seemed a good fit to continue the loan.

The loan will now end on January 2nd of the new year and unless his playing time decreases I can't see why they wouldn't extend this deal even further. There is word that Rovers boss Darren Ferguson would like that to happen as well.

Grant is currently 20 years old and has 12 appearances in the U-21 side and 11 appearances in the Scottish Premier League where he was on loan to Motherwell last year. He also scored in his debut with Motherwell last year, but so far those have been his only two goals while out on loan.
