When asked about what type of coach he is, Rafa Benitez had the following to say:
“I have passion one-on-one when I coach them. I think they can feel this passion and will try to make sure next time they can do this or that.” [EFC]

Transfer outlet Fichajes has names the Toffees as a potential destination for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio.

Mexico’s Under-23 defender Jorge Sanchez, who is impressing at the Olympics has been linked with both Everton and Tottenham Hotspur. [Football Insider]

Former Everton player Henry Onyekuru, who never played a game for the Toffees, is headed to Olympiakos and is proving the Blues right for moving on from him. [Echo]

What To Watch

Richarlison will be in action early today as Brazil take on Sanchez and Mexico in the semifinals, and then hosts Japan play Spain in the other semi.
