Everton got off the Rafa Benitez era at Goodison Park to the best possible start with a comfortable 3-1 win against Southampton, but they didn’t make it easy as fans were finally allowed back into the stadium after months of closed-doors games.

It took the Toffees finally mounting a second half comeback to win a game since September 2015, and the three-goal barrage in the second was equal to their output in the last sixteen games at Goodison last season - that makes for pretty depressing reading.

This week Calvin joins Geno on this latest episode to talk about what they saw in that game, the two Man of the Match performances, Rafa’s tactics and what to expect going forward.

They went on to also recap all the mystery around James Rodriguez and where he will be playing this season, as well as some of the players the Blues are being linked with, with Lorenzo Insigne, Joaquin Correa, Matheus Nunes, Matthew Hoppe and Aurelio Buta at the forefront.

Finally the end the show with a look ahead to Leeds United this weekend, and what the Blues can learn from how Manchester United thrashed them last weekend.
