Interview with former Everton goalie Tim Howard at the Florida Cup

The American speaks on topics from Everton’s upcoming season to ‘Big Yerry’

Tim Howard is used to being the face of Everton for American soccer fans. Though not the only, or the first, player to suit up for the Blues (take a bow Brian McBride), Howard is undoubtedly the star when it comes to Everton fans in the United States. It is a torch he is proud to carry as the club’s fan base continues to grow in America.

Royal Blue Mersey caught up with the former Blues goalkeeper at the Florida Cup where he was getting ready to play some footgolf with the Brazilian great ‘Kaka’. Howard answered questions on everything from his role as the face of the club in America, his thoughts on the match against Millonarios, and ‘Big’ Yerry.
