Everton’s consistent inconsistency continued on Sunday, following up another home defeat with another away win in the Premier League, this time at high-flying West Ham United.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin netted the only goal midway through the first half to breathe new life into the Blues’ European hopes with four games remaining.

Geno and Matthew discussed the win with RBM’s Tom Mallows on the latest episode of SOS Radio. Together, they looked at whether this was one of Calvert-Lewin’s best performances in an Everton shirt so far, who else stood out for the Blues at the London Stadium, and what this means for their hopes of European qualification.

Matthew and Tom then previewed Everton’s next two games - the trip to Aston Villa on Thursday, followed by the visit of Sheffield United to Goodison Park on Sunday.

Villa, of course, beat Everton at Goodison just ten days ago - what mistakes must Everton avoid repeating this time around? And surely, however poor they have been at Goodison this term, there can be no excuses against relegated basement club Sheff Utd? And when, if at all, should Abdoulaye Doucouré be re-introduced following his timely return from injury?
