Everton midfielder Beni Baningime has joined Derby County on loan for the rest of the season.
Baningime, 22, made his first team debut for Everton in October 2017, and has made 12 senior appearances for the club so far.
But his career has so far been blighted by injuries, and he has not added to those 12 since the end of the 2017-18 season.
Baningime joined Wigan Athletic in a similar loan spell in January 2019, but was restricted to just one outing for the Latics.
He will now look for regular football with Derby, currently 19th in the Championship.
Of course, Baningime will play at Derby under their new manager Wayne Rooney, a former team-mate of his during Rooney’s second spell as a player at Everton.
Baningime, a former Reserves and Academy Player of the Year at Everton, will see his current contract at Goodison Park expire in June 2022.
