Everton have until 1am to formalize the Josh King transfer, will there be an announcement tonight though? Stay awake if you can!
23:55 GMT
Apparently Carlo Ancelotti had a big part to play in convincing Josh King to join Everton. He’s a powerful recruiting weapon isn’t he?
Deciding factor in Josh King choosing to join Everton from Bournemouth was said to be Carlo Ancelotti. #EFC boss personally convinced 29yo he’s a firm part of their plans. It’s a six-month deal for a fee + most likely further add-on to #AFCB if signs permanently @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/khPXOHpGMV

We’re past the deadline now, and it appears that the Anthony Gordon to Preston North End loan deal is also happening as well as the Josh King transfer from Bournemouth. Both offer sheets have been submitted, and the clubs now have a couple of hours to complete the rest of the paperwork to confirm the transfers.

Looks like Josh King is a Toffee!

Gonna trust Al here.
Don’t believe anything about King choosing Fulham!

Test of Josh King's ambition and self-belief here. Do well at Everton and he puts himself in the shop window for a big new deal in the summer. #EFC https://t.co/ARdTHO00Fg

Okay some more details on the offers for King. Everton are offering to take the player on a 6 month loan, which takes him to the end of his current contract, and then an option to extend with Everton, or else leave as a free agent.
Fulham’s offer is of a permanent transfer with a three and a half year long deal, no word on whether it’s for the improved terms that the player has been looking for. Reports say there’s a release clause built in as well in case the Cottagers get relegated.
Down to King now to decide what he wants to do.
21:30 GMT
Nothing new to report yet on the King front apart from that Bournemouth have accepted bids from both Everton and Fulham and it’s down to the player to decide where he wants to go now.
20:30 GMT
Josh King is becoming a real possibility for Everton now, who have reportedly put in a bid for the player.
Everton are in pole position to land Josh King of Bournemouth. Anthony Gordon has moved to Preston on loan.

The tidbit at the end of that tweet is interesting too, with Anthony Gordon going to Preston North End where he should get a lot more playing time than he is here with the Blues.

Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing if highly rated young midfielder Moises Caicedo, who Everton were rumoured to have scouted too.
16:30 GMT
Just a quick reminder that the transfer window will close at 11pm GMT tonight, though if you’re an Everton fan I wouldn’t stay up late expecting anything.
15:30 GMT
Couple of updates - looks like Jonjoe Kenny to Celtic on loan is about to be done. Also, betting firms are slashing the odds on Josh King coming to Everton, even as Fulham have apparently entered the race for the forward.
15:20 GMT
Doesn’t look like Bernard is heading to Al-Nasr after all.
Bernard trained at Everton today, so chances of a move to Saudi looks very unlikely
— Alan Myers (@ALANMYERSMEDIA) February 1, 2021
The Arabian Gulf League transfer window closes on February 3rd however, so there is still a chance he could leave.
13:30 GMT
It appears Tottenham Hotspur’s Dele Alli will not be moving to Paris St Germain after all. Everton have been linked with a loan move for him as well, let’s see if that still comes about.
13:15 GMT
Joshua Zirkzee is in Italy undergoing a medical at Parma right now.
12:30 GMT
Some interest in Beni Baningime from Derby County where Wayne Rooney is currently the manager, according to Football Insider.
11:30 GMT
Once linked with Everton, Barcelona defender Jean Clair Todibo is headed to OGC Nice in Ligue 1, it’s a loan with buy option of €8,5m plus add-ons up to potential €15m with Barca adding a 15% sell-on fee in case he makes good.
11:20 GMT
Looks we can put the Ivan Perisic rumours to bed already...

10:40 GMT
Just as I say that.. The Athletic claims that Everton are interested in signing AFC Bournemouth’s Joshua King and may send Anthony Gordon to the Cherries on loan as part of the deal. Here’s what the Norwegian international could add to the Blues.
King has been linked with the Toffees before but interest appeared to have cooled. Southampton are also rumoured to be interested with Shane Long going the other way in part exchange.

10:30 GMT
BBC Sport reporter Phil McNulty has confirmed Everton are trying to sign a forward with Cenk Tosun and Bernard on their way out of Goodison Park.
Ivan Perisic is the only fresh rumour so far though.
10:00 GMT
Bayern Munich’s Joshua Zirkzee will be joining Parma, per The Athletic - it’s a loan with an option to buy for €15 million, as well as a 7.5% sell-on clause.

Welcome to RBM’s transfer day live blog. Will it be a busy day for Everton? Expectations are pretty low, with the emphasis likely to be on outgoings.
Cenk Tosun’s move to Besiktas is all but done, while Jonjoe Kenny is believed to be closing in on a move to Celtic. Bernard is also expected to leave for Al-Nasr.
That would leave Everton short of numbers going forward, so will there be any late signings?
You never know...
