FA WSL News: Everton Women vs Tottenham Postponed

Everton’s WSL fixture at Tottenham Hotspur, originally scheduled for Sunday at 9:30 a.m. EST/2:30 p.m. BST, has been postponed.

Following an inspection of The Hive Stadium and field, it was deemed unsafe to play. There has been no reported information about COVID being a factor in the postponement. It is a cold and snowy weekend in England, but Chelsea’s FA Cup game has gone on despite the snow.

This is yet another disappointment in a string of postponements for Everton — it represents the fifth missed match of the season.

A new date for the contest against Tottenham has yet to be scheduled.
