Everton have announced their official squad number list for the 2020-21 season ahead of their first game of the new campaign at Tottenham on Sunday.

Mason Holgate also moves to number four, which he wore in both of the Blues’ pre-season friendlies against Blackpool and Preston North End.

Holgate’s previous digit, two, has been filled by Jonjoe Kenny, following his return from a season-long loan at Schalke 04.

Elsewhere, Anthony Gordon has become Everton’s number 24, Sandro Ramirez takes 28, Yannick Bolasie has been given 29 and Muhamed Besic number 30.

Everton had already revealed the numbers allocated to their trio of new midfielders; Allan (six), Abdoulaye Doucouré (16) and James Rodriguez (19) following the announcements of their signings this week.

But their other summer recruit, 19-year-old left-back Niels Nkounkou, is now confirmed as occupying the number 18 shirt.

All other members of Carlo Ancelotti’s first team squad have retained the number they wore for Everton last season.
