Everton recorded a successive win and remained unbeaten since the Premier League’s restart in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Leicester, and the School of Science Radio crew had the pleasure of dissecting it.
Geno and Matthew were joined by RBM’s Calvin to debate such issues as: was Carlo Ancelotti right to swap Davies and Bernard for Sigurdsson and Gordon? How good is Michael Keane? And were Everton guilty of being too defensive at times?
All of these points were discussed on this episode, before getting into issues away from the Leicester win, such as:
- The latest fallout from Everton’s new stadium architect Dan Meis’ falling-out with the club
- Carlo Ancelotti’s comments on the scenes at the Liverpool Pier Head last weekend
- Have we read too much into Fabian Delph’s latest Instagram episode?
- Who is Everton’s new signing, left-back Niels Nkounkou?
The guys then look ahead to the Blues’ next game, the trip to Tottenham on Monday. Spurs have stuttered since the restart, so can Everton claim their first win over them since 2012?
