School of Science Radio, Episode 42: Winning Away

The guys dive into a rare victory and clean sheet on the road at Norwich with RBM’s Pat joining them

Everton recorded just their fourth league win and second clean sheet on the road this season in Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Norwich, and the School of Science Radio crew had the pleasure of dissecting it.

Geno and Matthew were joined by RBM’s Pat Mariboe to debate such issues as: was Anthony Gordon harshly treated to be dropped from the starting XI? Is Alex Iwobi good again? And with seven games to go, could an unlikely European push be on for the Blues?

All of these points were discussed on this episode, before getting into issues away from the Norwich win, such as:

  • Morgan Schneiderlin, Oumar Niasse, Cuco Martina and Luke Garbutt leaving the building.
  • Leighton Baines and Djibril Sidibé staying on for another month at least.
  • A host of youngsters also exiting.
  • What’s going on with Everton’s stadium move after some rather cryptic tweets from architect Dan Meis this week?

The guys then look ahead to the Blues’ next game, the visit of Leicester on Wednesday. The Foxes haven’t won since the restart, so can Everton ensure their stuttering form continues?
