Player Ratings vs Norwich 06/24

Richarlison 5

Didn’t make much happen and looked uninspiring overall. Quite the underwhelming performance for a player of his caliber.

Calvert-Lewin 6

Was explosive running at the opposition's defense and provided an outlet on the wings. Missed a wonderful chance from a great delivery from Iwobi. Several long distance shots that forced a couple saves out of Krul.

Bernard 5

Looked good only a handful of times, but overall didn’t impact the game like he is capable of.

Andre Gomes 7

Solid defensive effort for a player still getting his legs back after a horrific injury. Did well with his distribution and tracking back. Looked composed on the ball when put under pressure.

Davies 3

Very poor outing for the young Englishman. Subbed off at half time after not doing much other than committing fouls and giving the ball away needlessly. Not sure why he continues to start.

Iwobi 6

Looked slow in the first half, but was dynamic on the wing after the break. Excellent delivery that created a chance for Calvert-Lewin. He'll look to develop as a legitimate threat on the outside in the last seven games of the season.

Digne 7

Added quality on the defensive side of the ball and looked dangerous going forward. Provided an excellent service on Keane's goal. A robust day for the Frenchman.

Keane 8

Excellent set piece goal. Keane brought offensive potential on corners as well as defensive durability. Strong at the heart of the defense as well.

Holgate 7

Didn’t allow much room for Norwich's forwards to create. Closed down space and again showed his prowess as a defender. Several poor passes were the only blemish on what was otherwise a productive outing.

Coleman 7

More chances going forward in the second half allowed the captain to run at the defense. Put in a quality performance for the blues.

Pickford 5

Wasn’t really challenged by the Norwich strikers. Made several errant passes, and while his distribution was poor, he was quick off his line on several occasions.

Sigurdsson 5 (45 minute substitue)

Had himself a quiet game, but provided more on the offensive side than Davies did. Should start the next fixture on July 1 against Leicester.

Kean 4 (79 minute substitute)

First action he was involved in saw him receive a yellow. Won a free kick in an excellent position near the end of the game, but did little to impress.

Baines N/A (87 minute substitute)

Gordon N/A (90 minute substitute)
