We take a look at some of our favorite kit reveals in the last few years

We’re celebrating ‘jersey week’ at SB Nation where all the affiliated sports blogs are talking about their respective team’s kits - jerseys, shirts, tops, you get the drift.

While there’ll be plenty of content here to celebrate Everton’s magnificent royal blue jersey in its various forms as well as some of the amazing (and horrific) away and third kits as well, we also decided to give some credit to the football teams for how they announced the new kits.

Kit reveal videos have become a new fad in the world of sport, and here are some of our favorites from recent history.

From the current season, Arsenal’s 2019-20 kit reveal featured several current and past players (with an Alex Iwobi cameo). See how many you can spot.

If you have 6:20 (!) to spare, Southampton did a funny spoof of the infamous Fyre Festival. What was the Fyre Fest you ask.. where do we even start?!

And we can’t forgot Reading FC’s kit reveal from outer space (for some reason).

One of my personal favorites from Turkish side FC Trabzonspor.

FC Dallas in the MLS did a hidden camera prank for theirs in 2019. Hilarity ensues.

Glasgow Rangers FC’s kit reveal will give you goosebumps (sorry Celtic fans).

Staying in Scotland, Aberdeen FC players showed off their creative side in this reveal.

Manchester United go back in time and get the supporters involved for their 2014-15 reveal.

Egyptian side El Gouna FC released an animated video for theirs.

Andrea Pirlo and David Villa surprise NYCFC supporters with their new kit back in 2016.

And last but not least, Everton’s 2018-19 reveal will give you chills.
