After a week off, Everton is looking to build on the momentum from their last match — a 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace — by grabbing more points away to Arsenal.
It’s a huge match for Everton’s European ambitions — especially given the revelation of Manchester City’s Champions League ban last week. Three points would go a long way toward making what once seemed a dream into reality.
Before we look ahead to the likelihood of such an outcome though, let’s quickly review our predictions from the Palace match of two weeks ago.

The vast majority of us had Everton winning, and picked up two points as a result. There were a few bonus points in play as well for those writers who had Bernard opening the scoring and Richarlison as the man of the match.
Those results have changed very little in our prediction league standings.

We will likely see some movement in the table next week though, as the Arsenal match has brought about a fair bit of disagreement among our writers. Take a look!

Four writers predict a draw, four an Everton win, and two an Arsenal win — a pretty even split.
Richarlison is the most popular choice to open the scoring with five votes. No other player had more than one vote, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Theo Walcott, Nicolas Pepe, Alex Iwobi, and Hector Bellerin all selected once.
Predictably, Richarlison is a popular choice for Everton man of the match as well. He received five votes in that category also. The returning Andre Gomes received two votes, as did defender Mason Holgate. Iwobi and Lucas Digne also received one vote.
