It was a welcome and somewhat surprising return to winning ways for Everton on Saturday, as they saw off Chelsea and even kept a clean sheet in an encouraging 1-0 home victory.
Geno and Matthew sat down to discuss the game in this week’s episode of SOS Radio, along with Gavin Buckland, Everton’s official statistician, Liverpool Echo’s Royal Blue podcaster and author.
Also on this week’s agenda was Everton’s latest financial report published on Friday, which showed a loss just shy of £140 million for the previous financial year, as well as Farhad Moshiri’s further £250 million investment in the club.
