It’s a bumper episode of SOS Radio this week, as Everton soared to the top of the charts and the top of the league with a magnificent seven wins out of seven this season.

Joining Geno and Matthew this week was Matt aka @FinKitch, who played a huge part in helping Everton classic ‘Spirit of the Blues’ topple Miley Cyrus and lead the iTunes charts this week.

Matt talked about how the latest trend on Everton Twitter first gathered momentum and the most surreal moments of the last week, including a phone call from none other than club chairman Bill Kenwright.

Geno, Matthew and Matt also reflected on another fantastic week for the Blues on the pitch, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin netted four more goals and Everton put West Ham and Brighton to the sword in the EFL Cup and Premier League respectively.

We were also joined by Ollie Warner of Shrewsbury podcast Salopcast and Norwich fan Alex Murray on what they made of their former player Ben Godfrey, who joined Everton on Monday for a reported £25 million fee.

And finally, we caught up again with RBM’s Ian Decker, who got us up to speed with the women’s team who have also enjoyed a 100 per cent start to the new season, as well as reaching the 2019-20 FA Cup final this week.
