Things somewhat stabilized during this last week in Everton-land following the home win over Brighton & Hove Albion and a mostly positive Annual General Meeting. The Blues are back in action tomorrow away at West Ham United, and then return to Goodison Park on Tuesday to take on Newcastle.
In the latest episode of School of Science Radio, Adam and Geno talk about the quieter week with Ancelotti finally getting a full week of training with his squad. They recap how the Blues played against the Seagulls, and discuss Carlo Ancelotti’s tactics in the game.
They also preview the two upcoming Premier League games, both quite winnable and would certainly go a long way towards ensuring the Blues stay in the upper half of the table for the back end of the season.
(Editor’s Note: The episode was recorded before the injury news from today that Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson would miss out and Yerry Mina is fit for Saturday’s game)
The Hammers now have David Moyes back again, but will he be able to turn things around in London, and does this weekend come too soon for him with a number of pressing injury concerns too.
The crew also discuss the (lack of) transfer activity so far in this window, with exactly two weeks left before deadline day. So far it seems only Oumar Niasse and Cuco Martina are being actively shopped, but who are we looking to bring in and in what positions?
