Multiple sources are now reporting that Cenk Tosun is close to joining Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the season.
The Liverpool Echo and NTV Sport via Sport Witness are the latest outlets to reveal that the Turkey forward is in talks with the Eagles and a deal could be confirmed as soon as today.
Tosun was heavily linked with Crystal Palace prior to his move to Everton in January 2018.
The 28-year-old has made just seven appearances this season, two of those starts, scoring one goal. He hasn’t featured at all under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.
With Euro 2020 looming, Tosun wants regular football between now and the summer in order to nail down a starting spot in the Turkey team.
Everton, meanwhile, are keen to move players on as Ancelotti and director of football Marcel Brands begin (or in Brands’ case continue) the rebuilding of the squad.
The Toffees have been open to offers for Tosun for the last two transfer windows but no deal materialised.
His former club Besiktas were believed to be keen on bringing Tosun back to Turkey, but the striker wanted to stay in the Premier League.
