Everton Women beat Bristol City 2-0 for their first home game and win of the season in spectacular fashion. Forward Chloe Kelly had a lot to do with it, scoring two fantastic goals in the first half.
The second goal was a rocket from about 30 yards away:
How about that for your second goal of the game?

The first one wasn’t so bad either:

Last season was a tough one for Kelly, having missed much of the end of the season due to ankle surgery. Looks like the rehab went well though!
Kelly was a top goalscorer for Everton during the 2017/2018 season and we asked her in an interview back in 2018 what was the most important component to scoring a goal and she told us:
“I would just say composure in and around the box, it’s so when the pressure is high and just picking what you are going to do and sticking with it really.”
Looks like she has composure outside of the box too!
Hey Phil Neville, maybe you want to watch these goals and put Kelly in the next Lionesses lineup. :)
Up the Toffees who are now top of the FAWSL table, joint with Manchester City!
