There were several solid performances for the international Blues yesterday, highlighted by a two-goal performance by Cenk Tosun and a goal for Gylfi Sigurdsson as well. Back in the winter transfer window, there was a chance for me to leave Zenit. I understand Everton were interested in my services, but I didn’t want to leave,” says Artem Dzyuba. [SportWitness]

England manager Gareth Southgate will be keeping a close eye on Michael Keane.

The defender didn’t have a very good showing against Kosovo last night, his errant pass leading to the opening goal in a 5-3 win with Jordan Pickford in goal and not much chance of saving any of those goals, but Keane did assist on Raheem Sterling’s goal though.

Sigurdsson scored his in a disappointing 4-2 loss away to Albania, while Tosun’s brace led Turkey to a 4-0 romp at Moldova.
