Moise Kean is ready to bring “joy” to Evertonians and a “winning attitude” to the team after his move from Juventus was confirmed.
The 19-year-old has signed a five-year contract at Goodison Park to become the Toffees’ fifth signing of the summer.
The deal is believed to have cost Everton an initial €30 million (£27.5m) with a further €10m (£9.1m) in bonuses with no buy-back clause included.
Kean is one of the most highly-rated young players in Europe so the deal is seen as something of a coup for the club and generated a wave of excitement amongst the supporters.
The Italy international, who won two Serie A titles in Turin, says he was impressed with Everton’s ambition for the future.
“I was convinced to sign because Everton is a club looking to the future and so am I.
“I know about the size of the club. It has big ambition and I will work very hard to help us fulfil what we want to achieve.
“I am used to winning and I want to bring this winning attitude to the team. I hope I will be very good on the field and bring the fans joy.”
“Without objectives in life, you do not go anywhere. I always work hard and now for the Everton fans I will give the best of myself and take advantage of this opportunity.
“As soon as I heard Everton were interested in me, I spoke to my agent and it was the first choice for me.
“I will train every day and I will be ready for the Premier League. I am very proud and very honoured to wear this shirt.”

Kean also highlighted the opportunity to work with Marco Silva, a coach with a reputation for developing young players, as another factor in his decision to move to Merseyside.
“Marco Silva is a very good trainer and I will follow him and his methods, which can only be a good thing. It is very important to work hard every day, so you can be on top every day.
“Everton is a very big team, I know about the size of the Club.
“I work very hard and share all of the club’s ambitions – and I want to bring my ambition to the team.
“I am ready for the challenge and I will give the best of myself.”
