The stars appear to be shining bright for young Everton forward Nathan Broadhead.
The 2018-19 Everton Under-23 Player of the Season capped off a stellar season with that personal accolade to go with the domestic double of the Premier League 2 and Premier League Cup titles under David Unsworth, and has received key minutes as well with the senior side in the preseason so far.
Broadhead also participated in a summer training camp with the Wales senior squad after getting called up by Ryan Giggs, and has featured ten times for the Under-21 national side.
Now the youngster has signed a new deal with the Toffees through to the summer of 2021, and will spend the upcoming season out on loan to League One with Burton Albion.

The 21-year-old has been with the Blues since the age of 10 as an Academy scholar, making his way up through the Under-18 side winning the Dallas Cup in the 2015-16 season. He received his first call-up under Unsworth’s in the latter half of the 2016-17 season and was given a new three-year deal to commemorate the achievement.
Broadhead’s sole competitive senior team appearance was in December 2017 when he came on as a late substitute for the Blues’ Europa League group stage win over Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.
Expectations are high for the youngster and we will be keeping an eye out for him this season in our weekly loan recap.
