The two sides have already faced each other in 2019, with the Blues edging out the Imps in the FA Cup third round in a 2-1 win at Goodison Park in January, Ademola Lookman and Bernard getting the goals.
The Imps, who won promotion to League Two last season and have won both of their League One matches so far this term, won 1-0 at Huddersfield Town on Tuesday to book their place in the second round.
The Blues have never won this competition in their 141-year history, but have been beaten finalists twice, against Aston Villa in 1977 and to Liverpool in 1984.
Their run in the tournament last season lasted until the third round, when they were beaten on penalties by Southampton in October after a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.
