Yesterday, Everton fell to Kariobangi Sharks 4-3 in a penalty shootout in their first preseason match of the summer. The match was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation before heading straight into penalties. After conceding early, Joe Williams got the equalizing goal for the Toffees nearly 10 minutes into the second half while Ademola Lookman was subbed off early in the first half due to injury. Elsewhere, Richarlison came on in the 75th minute and scored a penalty for Brazil in their 3-1 Copa América Final victory over Peru.
