Feels like this has gone on for weeks but finally we have some affirmation from mainstream media that Everton are indeed in talks for Juventus striker Moise Kean.
Sky Sports are reporting that negotiations are underway between the two clubs, with the Italian giants asking for €40M (about £36M) for the striker, with the addition of a buyback clause for the 19-year-old.
A previous report seen stated that the buyback Juve were looking for was at €60M, which did not favour the Blues much.
In other possibly related news, it appears one Everton target is starting to get to know another Everton target a bit better on social media. Earlier today an eagle-eyed fan noticed that Wilfried Zaha has started following Kean on Instagram.

Now unless Zaha is headed to Turin, or is staying at Crystal Palace while Kean is joining him in London, this is a very interesting development.
Additionally, with the BBC’s David Ornstein confirming earlier today that Arsenal were the frontrunners for Lille’s Nicolas Pepe in an €80m deal, that now clears the path for the Toffees to Zaha and indeed Barcelona’s Malcom as well.
Of course, more than once we’ve seen absolutely nothing come out of this, but after a disappointing weekend so far at the Opel Cup, Blues can use anything to cheer us up a bit!
