From being afraid to leave his home during his time at Barcelona to becoming one of Everton’s (and the league’s) best midfielders this season, it has certainly been a ride for André Gomes. After an injury early on in the campaign kept him sidelined for several weeks, the 25-year-old Portugal international has come into his own and has shown how vital he is to the team’s success this season. Here’s hoping Everton’s midfield maestro can finish off the season on a high note and sign permanently with the club sooner rather than later.

Meanwhile, Everton set their sights on 22-year-old Birmingham striker Che Adams to potentially compete with Dominic Calvert-Lewin next season, as it is becomes more apparent that Cenk Tosun’s days with the club are numbered.
