After a dazzling 1-0 win over the Hammers, Everton Ladies were brave enough to go toe to toe with UFC MMA fighter “Meatball” Molly McCann. The Blues surely proved they have a lot of fight in them, after what manager Willie Kirk called a “battling” performance with “sheer guts and determination,” Proud Scouser Molly showed defender Georgia Brougham and midfielder Megan Finnigan some MMA moves in the gym and from the looks of it, they were naturals:

Good luck at #UFCLondon on Saturday, Molly! pic.twitter.com/ej0AkrGiET
There was some really good strutting and some superb kicks to an anonymous man, although Meatball did admit that Brougham “kicks harder” than Finnigan. They can strut all they want after keeping a clean sheet even after being down a player after defender Gabby George went out of the game due to injury!
Meatball will be looking to prove herself after her defeat in her own backyard at UFC Liverpool, something that she spoke candidly about in this clip where she admits to suffering from anxiety, depression and PTSD after being “put to sleep.” She said that the people of Liverpool have lifted her up and she is now trying to get the $50,000 performance bonus for her bout:
