Everton Ladies are back after international break, and they will be playing West Ham United Women away on Wednesday night. The Blues sit one spot above the relegation zone so they will be looking for a win to improve their record of 1-3-9. The game will be streamed via West Ham United’s Facebook page.

West Ham United are newly brought up into the top tier this season, but have been faring much better than Everton, as they are currently in 6th place. England internationals Claire Rafferty and Gilly Flaherty were recruited to the Hammers over the summer and have helped their squad immensely. Bizarrely, West Ham have the youngest Managing Director in the league, 19-year-old Jack Sullivan — who is the son of West Ham’s co-owner and is the star of a reality show, “Britain’s Youngest Football Boss.”

Let’s hope Everton beats Boss Baby, how ‘bout it? But to do so, they are going to need to score some goals, something that has not come easily for them this season — scoring only 8, which is as many as last place team Yeovil Town have scored. Meanwhile, West Ham United have scored twenty-one.

Unfortunately, Everton striker Chloe Kelly is out for the rest of the season due to ankle surgery, so perhaps Elise Hughes or Chaney Boye-Hlorkah can come through on Wednesday? The squad impressed against top-of-the-table Manchester City back in February, so it should be interesting to see how they fare against a mid-table team.
