Your daily dose of Everton news and rumours

Everton played arguably their best half of football this season against Newcastle on Saturday when they led 2-0 heading into halftime. However, Everton made sure to painfully bring all optimistic Blues back down to Earth by allowing three goals in the second half on their way to a 3-2 defeat. It was a similar scoreline the last time Everton lost to Newcastle back in December 2014. Questions will surely be asked of Marco Silva (if they haven’t been already) following poor game management and overall lack of composure. Ah, Everton; can’t you just let us be happy for once?
