Everton played arguably their best half of football this season against Newcastle on Saturday when they led 2-0 heading into halftime. However, Everton made sure to painfully bring all optimistic Blues back down to Earth by allowing three goals in the second half on their way to a 3-2 defeat. It was a similar scoreline the last time Everton lost to Newcastle back in December 2014.
