Everton’s Festive Fixture Period: Writer Prediction League

It’s a strange time of year for a new manager to take over, but Everton finds itself with Carlo Ancelotti now at the helm, with three matches to come in seven days.

It’s tough to glean exactly what these matches might look like, with new injuries in the mix, new tactics potentially on display, and two very different types of opponents during this period. But (poorly) predicting the impossible is exactly what the RBM crew specializes in.

Before we look ahead to the week’s matches though, let’s take a last look at the results from the Arsenal match.

Over the next week, Everton hosts Burnley at Goodison Park, then travels away to face Newcastle United and Manchester City. These three matches in seven days will put not only Ancelotti’s new style to the test, but Everton’s depth as surely rotation will be required to survive the hectic spell.
