Marco Silva has poured cold water on rumours that that Everton could be in for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
It was revealed yesterday that Ramsey would not be looking to extend his current deal with the Gunners at the end of the season, with media speculation immediately linking Merseyside rivals Everton and Liverpool with the attacking midfielder.
Speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Fulham, Silva refused to be drawn into that chatter -
“That is something I don’t even want to talk about. The (transfer) market is closed, we are happy with our squad and we have to work with our players.
“We look forward to what we want to achieve as a squad. Nothing more.”
The Blues current #10 Gylfi Sigurdsson has come under fire for not doing enough with open play chance creation, despite him being in the top five for chances created overall in the Premier League and the Blues trio of strikers misfiring badly.
Here are the top 5 players in chances created so far this year.
