Marco Silva met with the press ahead of Sunday’s trip to the Emirates where Everton have never beaten Arsenal.

He started off with an injury update, and it looks like apart from Yerry Mina none of the other players will be fit for this weekend’s clash.

“Some good news. Some of the injured players have returned to full training with the squad.

“Same situation still with Jags, I think next week he will start with the team as well.

“Gomes and Coleman still out.

“Mina has had a full week working with the team now. He is getting better every day, and getting good fitness as well.”

Overall things are finally looking up for the Blues with injuries after just a couple of weeks ago when Everton were missing about a dozen players.

“If you have the whole squad in good condition that is what you want. It looks better now.

“The last situation with Coleman wasn’t the best for us as well, but now we are in a position to work with them and get them in good physical condition.”

He will be relieved to get Brazilian forward Richarlison back from his three-game suspension.

“It’s important. He’s an important player for us.

“He started the season very well and scored important goals to help the squad. He’s able to play now and it’s good news for us.”
