Everton slipped to a bad 3-1 defeat at home yesterday to West Ham United, who had a 100% losing record before that. The Blues had dominated possession but were caught out by the incisiveness of the Hammers’ counterattack.

Blues were understandably frustrated by that decision, considering both Phil Jagielka and Richarlison were sent off for pretty ticky-tacky offenses.
