Everton have a game upcoming but the main headline for the day is going to be resolved off the field. Watford have continued to pursue their case against the Blues for ‘tapping up’ Marco Silva while he was still the Hornets manager, and it appears that this is going to head to a bitter ending with an independent Premier League inquiry after Watford waived their rights to compensation which the Blues were happy to pay.
