Earlier today the Regional Spanish media outlet Diario Vasco reported that Sandro Ramirez suffered knee ligament damage during a routine training session with his new La Liga club Real Sociedad this past Tuesday.
They go on to report (Translated by This is Futbol) that 23 year old Ramirez has sought medical advice and received scans on his injured knee. Furthermore they claim the scans have shown a ‘slight sprain of the internal lateral ligament of the right knee’ which can up to four weeks to fully heal.
This will no doubt come as a serious blow to the struggling forward who only recently joined Sociedad on a season long loan late last month and which follows a previously unsuccessful loan spell with Sevilla, one that was widely criticised by the fans of both clubs.
It is always unfortunate to see players suffer an injury and it is more unfortunate to see the sheer number of Everton players getting injured at the moment with loaned players proving to be no exception.
