New Everton signing Lucas Digne is already making an impression with the Blues, and what better way to do it than to respond to jibes Liverpool supporters have been taking at him.
The leftback has a tattoo around his upper chest that reads “I Never Walk Alone”, which the Reds have jumped on en masse because of it sounds like their facetious “You Never Walk Alone” slogan.
Speaking during his introductory press conference today, Digne clarified about the tattoo and its significance -
Digne says that tattoo has a story, and it's not about football. Then he says Liverpool fans might be mad at him because he told them no twice. "I am blue."
