Everton are away again this weekend, playing their third Premier League game of the season at AFC Bournemouth.
The Blues will be missing key midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin who left the game against Southampton last week after just twenty minutes with a hamstring issue. Manager Marco Silva confirmed it was a minor problem and he would resume training early next week.
Neither of the deadline day deals from Barcelona are expected to be back before the international break, with Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes also nursing minor injuries. Bernard meanwhile is still working his way to match fitness and could feature while Lucas Digne is also fit again and could play too.
Club captain Phil Jagielka is out serving the second game of his red card suspension, and it’ll be interesting to see if Silva hands the armband to Seamus Coleman again or Leighton Baines this time, if indeed the left back plays over Lucas Digne.
For Bournemouth, Eddie Howe will be disappointed to not have Junior Stanislas available after his goalscoring exploits against Everton in the past. The winger has a knee injury and is at least a month away.
Defender Diego Rico is suspended after getting sent off earlier in the season while another new signing Jefferson Lerma is getting closer to making is debut and could be a gametime decision for Howe.
