Marco Silva has been speaking to the press ahead of Saturday’s match at Bournemouth, and the Portuguese manager was able to provide some fitness updates on Everton’s walking wounded.
Thankfully, Morgan Schneiderlin shouldn’t be out long despite being set to miss the trip to the Cherries, and Lucas Digne is fit and firing again. Kurt Zouma remains available, and Bernard could be involved in some capacity, a decision on which will be made at the weekend.
Unfortunately, the news is worse for both Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina. Silva stated that it’s unlikely either player can get fit before the international break, meaning the earliest they could make their Everton debuts would be September 16th, home to West Ham.
Silva says could be after the international break before Mina and Gomes will be ready

We knew upon his arrival that Gomes was carrying a knock, which was not seen as much of an issue considering the Blues’ depth in midfield. Now, though, Morgan Schneiderlin and Beni Baningime are hurt, and Mo Besic is at Middlesbrough. Tom Davies has big shoes to fill.
Mina, on the other hand, was supposed to be healthy and able to slide right in to the Everton defense, particularly after Phil Jagielka received a three game suspension. The Blues will now rely heavily on Michael Keane, Mason Holgate, and Kurt Zouma in the coming days.
