Your daily dose of Everton news and rumours
Evidently even the bottom of the Championship is too high a level for Ashley Williams, who got sent off for the second time in his last three starts, including one at Everton. Stoke City were thrashed at home by Wigan Athletic 3-0 and the Wales captain picked up a red card after two bookings. [BBC]
What was more embarrassing for the player was the club’s official Twitter account scolding him for his actions.

Not to pile on too much here, but when your day is this miserable, what else is there to say?

Another senior player linked with an exit from Everton is Yannick Bolasie who at this point has probably been linked with every Championship side. He was at Aston Villa’s game yesterday looking to see if he wanted to take his tekkers skills there. [Sky Sports]

It’s confirmed that Yerry Mina does indeed come with a buyback clause from Barcelona, but the Spanish side cannot activate it until 2020, and that too for no less than €60m, which is basically double what Everton paid for him this summer. [Marca]
A number of players have commented that they are enjoying the pace and intensity of Marco Silva’s training methods. [RBM]
Speaking of Silva, his pre-match press conference is on today at 2:15pm BST (9:15am EST) - click here to watch.
More awesome stuff from the Everton media team, this time it’s the freekick routine for the opener over the weekend, in the ‘From All Angles’ feature.
