As expected, German side RB Leipzig are making another push for Everton winger Ademola Lookman with just days to go before the close of their transfer window.

Everton ave already turned the Bundesliga team down three or four times, depending on which tabloid is reporting, but now the Mirror are saying that a bid for £22m is on the table as the player’s representatives continue to negotiate with the Blues.

The report goes on to add that the Toffees are asking for £30m, after we’d heard earlier that the amount to let him leave was just £20m.

In recent days, manager Marco Silva seemed to indicate that he wanted Lookman to stay and fight for a spot, and that he was responding well in training and was even in the 18-man squad for the win against Southampton.

If the player is indeed dead-set on leaving the Blues and is sold for £30m, then Marcel Brands will have turned an incredible profit on a player who has only played limited Premier League minutes and was bought in January 2017 for just £8m with potential add-ons up to £11m.
