The Everton players are today doing the customary photoshoots ahead of the Premier League season, and they are evidently bored out of their minds as the Instagram video below from Theo Walcott shows.

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed however that three players featured in the video are wearing new squad numbers, two of whom we’ve already seen in preseason games while one we haven’t.

Mason Holgate appears to be wearing the #2 shirt, recently vacated by Morgan Schneiderlin. This iconic number has been worn by the following players in the Premier League era: Tony Hibbert (07/08 - 15/16), Steve Watson (00/01 - 04/05), Alessandro Pistone (02/03), Alec Cleland (98/99 - 99/00), Earl Barrett (95/96 - 97/98), Matt Jackson (91/92 - 94/95).

Morgan Schneiderlin has now switched to the #18 kit, which was worn by Gylfi Sigurdsson last season. Former wearers of the shirt number are: Gareth Barry (13/14 - 17/18), Phil Neville (05/06 - 12/13), Wayne Rooney (01/02 - 03/04), Paul Gascoigne (00/01 - 01/02), Stephen Hughes (99/00), Terry Phelan (99/00), David Weir (98/99), Mickaël Madar (98/99), Joe Parkinson (93/94 - 96/97).

Gylfi Sigurdsson has taken over the legendary #10 jersey worn last by Wayne Rooney. Since the Premier League started in 1992, the number has been worn by Romelu Lukaku (14/15 - 16/17), Gerard Deulofeu (13/14), Mikel Arteta (08/09 - 11/12), Royston Drenthe (11/12), Thomas Gravesen (07/08), Simon Davies (05/06), Duncan Ferguson (01/02 - 04/05), Stephen Hughes(00/01), Don Hutchison (97/98 - 99/00), Gary Speed (96/97 - 97/98), Barry Horne (93/94 - 95/96).
