One of the areas that Marco Silva needs to revamp - at least slightly - is the group of wingers at Everton. Theo Walcott is nailed on to start down the right, and with good reason. On the left, though, it’s quite a mess.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Nikola Vlasic are midfielders, while Ademola Lookman is antsy to continue playing in Germany. It would be a shock if Kevin Mirallas ever plays another competitive match for the Blues, and Yannick Bolasie just isn’t good anymore.

Hirving Lozano has been rumored all over the internet thanks to his Marcel Brands connection, but has probably priced himself out of the equation thanks to a sterling World Cup. Justin Kluivert was also suggested prior to making his Roma move.

At any rate, it looks like Everton will have their hand forced into making a move, because Sky Sports report that Fenerbahce are interested in Yannick Bolasie.

Fenerbahce are interested in signing Everton winger Yannick Bolasie, Sky Sports News understands. The Turkish side finished second in the Super Lig last season, and are looking to strengthen their squad before they enter the Champions League qualifying rounds.

Yala is a likeable individual, and hasn’t done the club any wrong in his short time at Everton. Unfortunately, this is likely the best move for all parties involved. Bolasie has been a pretty clear disappointment given his price tag, and while not all of that is his fault (what with the devastating knee injury), it seems incredibly unlikely that he’ll regain his explosiveness any time soon, if ever.

Everton wouldn’t make much of their original fee back in a Yannick Bolasie transfer, but it’s probably time to cut ties.
