Everton seem to be taking so long to push through each transfer it’s hard to see how the Blues will beef up at critical positions with the window about to close and most targets already off the market.

• While Lucas Digne should be at Finch Farm today, previous signing Richarlison is impressing the veterans of the squad. [EFC]
• However, it’s looking like his Barcelona teammate Yerry Mina will bot be joining him at the Blues. [Liverpool Echo]
• Club captain Phil Jagielka courted controversy with the fans yesterday talking about a possible transfer fee for Jordan Pickford. [TalkSport]
• Meanwhile the Blues have inked Maarten Stekelenburg to an extension, ensuring he stays Pickford’s backup for the next two seasons. [RBM]
