Over the past few days, Everton’s pursuit of Barcelona’s Yerry Mina has gotten a lot more competitive. Olympique Lyonnais in France joined the fray, while Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers also have displayed interest.
In the end, though, it seems to be the Blues who are most serious about acquiring the Colombian defender, as multiple reports this morning indicate Everton have increased their offer to the Catalan club.

Goal.com’s Barcelona correspondent reports the same news, and it seems probable that this is the bid Barca will be willing to accept.
The 23-year-old has attracted interest from Germany and France, but is set to complete a switch to Merseyside after the Toffees increased their offer. Everton are on the verge of signing Yerry Mina from Barcelona after making a £27 million ($35m) offer, Goal understands.
If Everton have won the bidding for Yerry Mina, it now moves to negotiations between the player and Marcel Brands. You’d look great in blue, Yerry. Trust us.
