Everton are back in preseason friendly action tonight, playing away at Blackburn Rovers. Idrissa Gueye and Gylfi Sigurdsson are back and have been training and likely to get some minutes, but Blues will be interested to see if new signing Richarlison gets to play as well.

There were rumours early yesterday that Marcel Brands had flown out to Spain to meet with the Barcelona top brass over Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina. [Sky Sports]

Lyon are confident they can snag Mina since they’re playing in the Champions League this season. [HITC]

What To Watch

Apart from Everton playing today, there’s a round of Europa League qualifiers too (remember those?) on tonight, click here for more information. In the only International Champions Cup fixture today Atletico Madrid take on Arsenal.

We’re nearing the end of the Tour de France with Geraint Thomas still in the lead and Chris Froome enduring a mishap with a gendarme(!) - it’s a flat Stage 17 today.
