Buying Cristiano Ronaldo has caused Juventus to need to juggle the rest of their attacking corps. One casualty of this approach seems to be Croatia winger Marko Pjaca, who has been linked to several clubs in Italy and England by Tutto Juve. This is a logical move for Juve, since the 23 year old was on loan last year and did very little the year before that.
Not that I usually try to hard to find one, but there’s really no nice way to describe Pjaca’s production the last two years. It’s been one giant pile of hideousness from start to finish. He only received 448 league minutes from Juve in 2016/2017 and scored no goals (though he did bag one in limited Champions League play), then went on loan last year to Schalke and scored twice in seven appearances. He just doesn’t seem to be that good.

This radar represents his year in Juve, and honestly it is too small a sample size for me to take too much from it, but I do notice that the only thing he’s particularly ‘good’ at is successful dribbles.
The link here seems to be about having a backup winger in a situation where Ademola Lookman moves on, but frankly there just has to be a better option than this. I can’t be convinced that this is a better option at winger than Yannick Bolasie or Kevin Mirallas or heck even playing Vlasic or Calvert-Lewin out of position.
Thankfully, the player seems to prefer Fiorentina, so this will likely fall to nothing. With limited time remaining before the end of the window, we still aren’t sure what Everton is going to look like this year. Signings need to happen, just not this one.
