Don’t worry, friends. The relative lack of rumors on the Everton transfer front appear to have been a smokescreen, as all could be made clear within in a short time. Yes, Papa Marcel knows what he’s doing.
Sky Sports dropped a bombshell earlier today with the news that the Blues are “in advanced talks” for one of the most sought-after young wingers in the entire sport.
Everton in advanced talks to sign Bordeaux winger Malcom.

Bordeaux chairman due to meet Everton on Thursday.
£30m deal plus add ons being discussed. 5-year deal worth £80,000 a week.
Malcom, just 21, is absolutely electrifying, and as you can see from the graphics below, comes with a fair amount of end product, too. He’s not yet made a debut for the Brazilian national team, but that will come in time.
Malcom is by nearly all accounts going to be a superstar, and if this deal comes gets across the line, Everton will have beaten the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal to his signature.

The rumored fee and wages from Kaveh Solhekol are a pittance for a player of Malcom’s quality, and it’s quite plausible that the youngster is already better than any other wide forward at Goodison Park.
When evaluating Malcom, the fine folks at StatsBomb said “it makes sense not to talk about Malcom on the level of Kylian Mbappe or Ousmane Dembele, but perhaps the level below alongside the likes of Yannick Carrasco during his 14–15 season or Bernardo Silva. That still equates to a very tantalizing prospect.”.
Friends, get ready - if Marcel Brands pulls this one off, Everton’s attack improves immensely. Gylfi Sigurdsson, Theo Walcott, Cenk Tosun, Ademola Lookman, and Malcom is a fierce set of forwards. There’s gonna be a show.
