After the long holiday weekend, the transfer rumour mill picked up with a vengeance yesterday, with plenty of players both outgoing and incoming being named.

• Turkish outlets reported that Besiktas were interested in taking Davy Klaassen on loan, with a view to outright purchase later. [Turkish-Football]
• Speaking of Turkish clubs, Galatasaray want to sign manager Arsene Wenger and then pick up Oumar Niasse from Everton. [RBM]

And then there were all the defenders and midfielders being linked with coming to Everton.
