Ademola Lookman has hit a wonderful patch of form lately and scored another brace as RB Leipzig easily dismissed Hertha Berlin 6-2 away. If results hold then Leipzig will hold the last qualification spot for the Europa League.
The Bundesliga-side have already reiterated that they would like to hold on to the Englishman but there is no option to buy clause added to his loan deal in Germany. Under Sam Allardyce, Lookman found opportunities hard to come by and insisted on the move to Leipzig despite Everton wanting him to stay in England.
At Hertha today, Leipzig got the scoring started early, taking the lead in the first minute but the hosts equalized within minutes before Lookman scored and then laid on an assist to have Leipzig ahead by the quarter mark.
He wasn’t done there, and set up Jean-Kévin Augustin again early in the second half to make it 5-1.
Lookman was then taken off just passed the hour mark before he inflicted even more damage on the hapless hosts.
