It is becoming an all too common of a theme as of late. Everton brings a talented youngster into the fold only to have a manager quickly lose faith, yank him out of the squad and seem him succeed, at least to modest amounts, elsewhere. Kieran Dowell is thriving with Nottingham Forest. Ademola Lookman has had his moments with Red Bull Leipzig. And now we see Nikola Vlasic with a brace for the Croatian kids.

With Everton’s league position nearly wrapped up, it would be neat to see the younger Blues get a run in the team. Not necessarily Tom Davies or Jonjoe Kenny. We’ve seen plenty of them and know that, at the very least, they are quality depth pieces. Lets find out more about Vlasic and any of the other kids that are too good for the U23s in the season’s final weeks.
